Here are some shortcuts to use that will help speed up your Gmail experience. To use the shortcuts click on settings under the General Tab and select “Keyboard shortcuts on”.
c = Compose a message
Shift + c = open blank message in new window
/ = places cursor in the search field
# = move selected file into trash
! = report as spam
K = move to previous message
J = move to the next message
R = reply to message
Shift + R = reply to message in new window
A = reply to all
F = forward message
? = view list of keyboard shortcut options
Esc = closes the list
