The Christmas Season has arrived in Utah Valley (and everywhere else for that matter) and we’re all ready to get out of the house and enjoy the festivities. It’s about time, right?! The temperatures are bitter cold but our hearts are warm and ready to be cheered by the festivities of the season. And don’t worry about getting your fill of holiday entertainment because there’s a lot of it! I’ll highlight a few of my favorite festivities in the Provo area to help you get your plans started.
1. Utah Valley Symphony – Family Christmas Concert
Feeling classy? This is the perfect cultural event for the family. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of beautiful string instruments play the European Christmas classic of Hansel and Gretel. Not only will you enjoy the beautiful sounds of Christmas but you’ll be able to enjoy it in the warm climate of the Covey Center for the Arts.

2. Historic Downtown Provo Gallery Stroll – December
Feeling artsy? Start at the Covey Center for the Arts Gallery and meander down beautiful Center street to see all of the shops full of books, art, delicious food, and collectibles. But be sure to bundle up! The galleries downtown will be open late each first Friday night of the month so if you miss this Friday’s stroll you’ll have another chance to take a late night stroll and enjoy the refreshments and live music.

3. The Forgotten Carols
Feeling theatrical? Watch this clip and you’ll want to see more. The heart-warming tale will be sure to get you into the Christmas spirit! It’s a must see with a story and music that will be a touching memory for the entire family.
