Google is continually looking to improve the way they can help not only the online world with the way they gather information for their search engine, but also continually helping the offline world. Google has partnered with a non-profit organization called Lime that brings together corporations and people with disabilities to offer the Google Lime Scholarship.

The Google Lime Scholarship will give $10,000 USD to students studying in the United States and $5000 CAD to students studying in Canada. These scholarships will be awarded to individuals with disabilities to those both in the United States and Canada who are pursuing University Degrees in the field of Computer Science.

These scholarships will be awarded for the 2009-2010 scholastic year and all applications must be turned in by June 1, 2009. Those students who are lucky enough to receive these scholarships will be treated with an all expenses paid retreat to the Googleplex in 2010.

Google is continually showing that they are more than a search engine that only gathers information, as they broaden their horizons to not only improve their company online but offline as well.
