"Computer with money"

With busy schedules, it can be hard to find ways to earn extra money. If you have a Smartphone and know the basics of technology, however, there are ways to supplement your income and bring in a few extra additional dollars a week. Here are 3 ways to increase your paycheck this summer:

1. Gigwalk

Gigwalk is an iPhone and Android app that virtually connects businesses to local temp workers. Anyone with the proper Smartphone can become a Gigwalk user. Once the app has been installed, Gigwalk users fill out “job” applications and are selected to perform basic, local tasks. Tasks include assignments such as visiting local retail locations, taking photographs of property, and verifying products or displays.

The bigger the city, the more Gigs there are available. As you complete more Gigs, you have the potential to earn more money. Starting Gigs typically only take a few minutes and pay a few dollars. If Gigwalk chooses to accept your photo and data submissions, they keep around ⅓ of the cut and pay you the rest via PayPal.

2. Sponsored Tweets

Sponsored Tweets is an advertising platform that pays Twitter users to have conversations with specific companies. Sponsored Tweets users create accounts and set a desired per-tweet price, then wait to be contacted by advertisers.

Once offers are made, users can either accept or reject them. Advertisers are relying on word of mouth (or word of tweet) to get information about their products and people out into the open. Once $50 or more has been credited to your PayPal account, Sponsored Tweet users can receive a payment.

3. Fiverr

Fiverr is a website that allows people to virtually sell and buy almost any service–and most services start around $5. With a Fiverr account, you can sell a skill that you have to online users–anything from writing to illustrating to designing to singing to video testimonials.

Pick something you can do confidently and quickly so that the $5 made will be worth it. If you choose to sell writing or blog posts, keep your content to only a few hundred words. If you will be designing a logo or letterhead, make sure you have all necessary images and programs before you begin. If many Fiverr users choose to buy your service, you could potentially make a lot of money in a short amount of time. Payments are managed directly through the Fiverr website, and services can be promoted with social media links.

Now get out there and make some extra cash!
