1. Ambition

Learn what you need to do, then look for things that need to get done. With controlled ambition, an employee can directly influence management in creating more effective ways to accomplish tasks. This attitude also generates a healthy and competitive environment to work in.

2. Consistency

No one likes a flip-flopper. If you say you’ll do something, do it. If you say you’ll be somewhere, be there. When you create good content or do an exceptional job, continue on that path.

3. Fresh Positivity

It’s very easy to fall into a rut within a workplace. Be that fresh face that brings vibrancy to the office. Be careful not to be overzealous and annoying, but be positive and fun to work with.

6. Passion

This doesn’t need too much explanation. Find a way to love what you do. Eventually you’ll need to land in a job you love, but while you are working up the ladder find a way to give all you have to the things you’re asked to do. Even if it’s a ‘lesser’ job in your mind.

7. Leadership

Display leadership. Don’t overstep your bounds, but be willing to step up and speak up. Take control of the projects you’re given while keeping in mind that a good leader knows how to delegate well.
