The templates that are the easiest to use, but the most dynamic and attractive to see
Website and blog design can be a daunting task when you don’t have a background in coding and design. I’ve totally been there. The beautiful thing about the internet however is that there is a huge range of easy-to-use templates you can use that are simple and don’t require years of experience and education.
Consider these templates as potential options if you’re looking for a template for your site:
Weebly
Weebly has more than 15 built designs for websites that are up for grabs (and for free). What’s even cooler is that you can grab the different sections of the page (such as the ads, icons, headlines, etc.) and drag them around to where you want them to go. It also allows for good interconnectivity with your social media sites and documents. I use Weebly for my personal site and everyone around me that uses it loves it.
Wix
Wix is similar to Weebly in the way that it is also a “drag and drop” editor. Although not incredible in terms of how it look on a mobile device, it definitely is easy to use. A potential downside to the builder is that once you choose your theme, it is locked into place and is unchangeable, which is different from sites such as Weebly.
Squarespace
Although it’s not free like Wix and Weebly, this one has great ratings. Sites that use it are snazzy (Take a look at their gorgeous templates here) and are apparently really easy to design. It’s reviewed as a “unified” interface that allows you to choose all your options all in one spot (seeing the website editor alongside the content editor, which is kind of my frustration with Weebly).
What makes it even better is that it has an ecommerce option that allows you to effectively sell your products and services. It works with only one payment processor (Stripe), but apparently Stripe is one of the best on the market.
I only covered three sites very briefly here, but a fantastic reference for more is sitebuilderreport.com, which goes has good, indepth reviews of the builders.
So good luck on finding the right tool for you and definitely don’t be shy in contacting us to see how we can help you in your website design and marketing needs.
