In any business you have to create an edge as to why you are better than other competitors. This is especially true when you do business online. There is a lot of competition so you have to do your homework and create your niche in order to compete. If you have a totally unique product on the market then it is something you really don’t have to worry about because the product is the competitive edge. Your company has to show off their best qualities.
Here are some examples of what your edge could be:
– You have the cheapest prices on those products
– You have faster delivery
– You offer Free shipping
– You have no minimum order required
– Your product lasts longer
– Your product is of better quality
– Your product has an extra bonus compared to other similar products
When you look at most marketing campaigns by major companies they are driving home the point that they are better at something then everyone else.
FedEx: “When it has to be there overnight” – indicates they are the fastest in the shipping business
Verizon: ” Its the Network” – indicates a Larger coverage area
Chevy: We keep America running – indicates America would fall apart without them
Ford: Better Hauling – indicates they are the best at towing and hauling
