When writing content on the internet you have to grab the eye. People scan through information so you have to catch them and get their attention very fast. Using ellipsis can be somewhat like a bullet list. An ellipsis gives you 5 spaces in the middle of a paragraph without the need for characters.
People will scan right over big long paragraphs full of words even if the information and content is really good. When a user sees the site they see:
Words words words blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah get the point
In order to grab the readers attention you have to do something that does not blend words together. Using ellipsis will help you do that.
For Example:
Writing good content is essential in building business online … grabbing peoples attention … improving sales … and will ensure that they return.
Using an ellipsis will allow you to point out a series of points in a row while grabbing the attention of the reader.
