Things That Search Engines Cannot See

Posted In : Uncategorized

Search Engine crawlers cannot crawl and index Adobe Acrobat PDF Files. If you have information that is of great importance to you and you want to have that information on your website you must always make sure it is in a format that the search engines can see it. You must convert your PDF files into a static html page. This way that information can be indexed. Google is one of the few exceptions to the rule when it comes to having to convert PDF format files.

If you have any database driven web pages and you want it to be indexed you must also build a static html page. Crawlers cannot see content from a database driven page.

Any text or information that you have on your site that is generated by Java Applets cannot be seen. If you want this information to be indexed you have to have that information also in the body text of the page.
